So when I asked God to open doors for this to happen, I didn't really expect Him to rip the doors off their hinges doing it...but whatever...I'm not complaining. $80 $200 $75 ____ $355
That's how much money I now have for engagement rings. I was like, God, open some doors or give me an idea, cuz I'm broke. And then it was like...how much longer am I going to need my possessions...? The answer was pretty obvious. I sold the phone I haven't used in like...a year for $80. That was cool. And there's this really good musician from Naperville that's going to come up and jam with me on Tuesday, and then buy my Strat and the Peavey amp I have for $275...which is cool. And then in a few weeks, I get $100 for house sitting for the Rooney's...this is awesome. I need to put $100 down right away, and then the first payment needs to be made by the end of the first month...only I already have enough to make the first four or five payments! Realistically, I only need $400 in the next 12 months...which is ridiculously easy. For that, I am happy. Which means next Saturday, I can buy rings...and for that, I am super freaking happy. Thanks God.
I don't blame people...I wish I could study for something. I'm just SO freaking bored!!!
I've seen Star Trek three times and Wolverine in the last week and a half. They're both fantastic!
I'm going to see the Soloist at some point this week, or maybe watch it online. I'll see Terminator when it comes out in a few weeks. Lots of good movies. It's very strange how I've been getting more and more annoyed with media and entertainment recently. And yet, I've been watching more TV and movies lately than ever before... There's a correlation there somewhere... I'll figure it out.
What is with the amount of short posts coming from everybody lately? It seems like every time somebody that's not me or Cady puts up a post, it's a title, and two or three sentences...maybe.
I would guess it's because I have a lot of time, so when I do post, I'm in no rush to leave. Most...scratch that...nobody I know (including John Meyer's) has as much free time as I do.
I'm just thinking... just because YOU know what's going on in your brain, doesn't mean I can connect the dots. Then again, maybe it's just me who posts on xanga for the sake of everybody else.
*SIDE COMMENT* Obama is an aweful speaker. I'm sitting here watching this Presidential Conference and he's completely sucking at answering every question...it's actually funny to see him stumbling over...air...it looks like. He's not even stumbling over words...just not saying anything...and when he does you can tell his answer isn't exactly that well put together. Like "oh crap...quick...JUST SAY SOMETHING!" My favorite: Q: What has most surprised you, humbled you, enchanted you, and troubled you about this office since joining? A: *silence....* *more silence...* What was that last one, humbled? Ok... *pause...* I....*pause*... I am so surprised....*pause*... I am surprised by the number of things ....

I swear I just heard "Now, get 50 cents back in Staples credit when you purchase ANY piece of paper..." on the TV. I probably didn't. But I almost spit up apple juice. I just figured out how to access the internal interface on Cady's old iPOD. It was actually just guess and check, but I've at least got it to the point where it will turn on. And it doesn't say "no battery" and go off right away. It's back to what it used to do...which was turn off when you started doing to much with it (AKA changing the song...or doing anything). So I'm making progress. I'm going to try freezing the battery tonight if I can figure out how to get it open. The made these things almost seamless...i'm not sure how to get it open. I went shopping a couple hours ago. I got a lot of healthier foods and stuff. It feels really good to be excercise daily, and doing as much as I am at that....I did 45 minutes of running this morning. It wasn't even that hard, which surprised me. I wanted to run a bit more actually. I've got my whole outfit for prom. It looks really good.
I'm not tired at all. Flipping channels on the television and surfing the internet seems to be my fate for the night. And I"m content with this fact.
